Ready for tomorrow?
At Telenet we believe technology makes the difference. We help our customers stay ahead, build relationships that last, and create a positive impact on society.
At Telenet Business our ambition is clear: become the preferred Managed Service Provider, proactively taking care of our customers' connectivity and ICT, together with strong partners.
Working as Director B2B Delivery & Services Excellence
You lead the engine room that makes the B2B Delivery & Services tribe better at what it does. In total, over 250 colleagues are part of our tribe, and ~25 of those people report to you. Your teams work across three areas: Transformation, Operational Readiness, and the Operational Performance Office.
You report to the Tribe Lead and work shoulder to shoulder with other directors in the tribe and across our company. Together we deliver for our B2B customers. Each of your fellow directors has their own area of expertise / responsibility and is mostly focused on running and improving within it. You deliberately take a broad perspective across those boundaries and the full machine, optimizing for the whole: zooming in where your attention is most needed, taking part in improving it, then moving to the next area. A certainty : you will play actively contribute to Telenet’s ongoing B2B transformation journey.
You look at the organization as a machine you want to understand and improve. You are equally at home in a P&L, a process map, and a room full of people who need to be brought along.
Your role as Director B2B Delivery & Services Excellence
- Turn the Telenet and Telenet Business strategy into concrete goals and roadmaps for the tribe, over a 1 to 3 year horizon specific to your area and ensure a close connection to the whole – not moving in isolation / silo but in lockstep together with your peers and the departments they lead.
- Own operational performance : KPIs that matter, a solid rhythm in steering, and challenging budget holders on cost, quality and delivery.
- Take a close interest in the financial steering in close collaboration with Controlling: bottom-up build, monthly forecasting, and honest challenge on Opex, Capex and return on investment.
- Lead structural transformation and data and process cleansing programs (CSS and BSS), and lift the capability of the wider tribe and beyond
- Own operational readiness : a single quality gate for change, go-live and operational risk, so what we ship actually works for customers and our colleagues who support those customers.
- Keep B2B compliant with its risk and compliance obligations (SOX, NIS2, DORA, ISO 27K, ISO 9K, audit remediation, third party risk).
- Build and maintain good relationships with a broad range of stakeholders inside the tribe, within the B2B circle and across the company
- Drive continuous progress in our ambition to increasingly be our customers’ trusted Managed Service Provider
Your profile as Director B2B Delivery & Services Excellence
- You have led teams and delivered change in a complex operational environment. Typically 10 or more years of leadership, though we care more about what you have built than the count.
- You read a P&L (Profit & Loss) fluently and have steered an operations budget. Financial modelling is a plus.
- You think in systems: people, processes, technology, flow of work, feedback loops, and second-order effects. You diagnose before you optimize, but you don’t get stuck in analysis only.
- You are genuinely curious about new technology and where it is heading, and you never lose sight that this is in the end all about our customers and our people.
- You are a strong communicator and a bridge builder. You bring people with you and build support from the ground up rather than demanding obedience from the top down
- Telco or ICT experience is welcome but not strictly required. We are open to a mix of backgrounds: consulting, operations leadership, and high-potential talent ready to step up.
Fluent written and spoken English and Dutch.
