JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic Contract Logistics QSHE Team in Liege as Site Quality Team Leader!

‎

The Contract Logistic Quality Team Leader is responsible for maintaining the Quality management system (QMS) within the site(s) he is assigned to. The intention is to meet both internal and external requirements, including legal compliance and customer’s expectations, and continuously improve to maximize customer satisfaction.

How you create impact

Develop, implement, and embed a strong Quality culture, ensuring awareness, acceptance, and adherence to KN Quality standards across the site.
Establish, maintain, and verify Quality processes compliant with KN directives, client requirements, and applicable European and local regulations.
Act as site Quality subject matter expert, coordinating with CL BE, National, BeNeLux, BU/FU, and other stakeholders, aligning with global and national Kuehne+Nagel Quality strategy.
Advise site and Contract Logistics Belgium Quality management on Quality objectives, lead Management Reviews and QMRs and provide regular Quality performance and status reporting.
Serve as focal point for Quality KPIs, audits, inspections, certifications, and client assessments, including follow-up and escalation of non‑conformities and action items.
Ensure document control, training governance, Quality compliance for new customers/projects, and implementation of local security guidelines per legislation.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying system weaknesses, supporting process optimization, managing CAPA and complaints and monitoring effectiveness and consistency.
Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and external parties as required, ensuring effective communication on Quality topics, maintaining required records and shared documentation.

What we would like you to bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of managerial experience in a Quality‑related role, preferably in logistics, pharma / healthcare, or other fast‑changing environment.
Practical and advanced knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001 and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Strong regulatory knowledge for healthcare (GDP, GMP, ICH Q7, ISO 13485, API handling and traceability) and food/feed (food and feed safety regulations such as EC 852/2004).
Advanced user of MS Office tools including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal English skills, Dutch and/or French, additional languages are an asset.
Strong interest in regulations, Quality systems, and process improvement, with an accurate and analytical working style.
Independent, results‑oriented, positive, stress‑resilient professional with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Entrepreneurial, customer‑focused, and solution‑driven, with a strong commitment to teamwork, innovation, and personal and professional development.
