Job description
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and organize the daily work of the Quality Control team.
- Ensure quality control of raw materials and finished products, including analysis of results.
- Establish and maintain communication with suppliers regarding compliance of raw materials with quality requirements.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and provide conclusions and recommendations to production and R&D teams.
- Maintain, improve, and manage production technologies in cooperation with the manufacturing team.
- Implement improvements and new methods in product quality control within the company.
- Coordinate product scale-up activities and develop standards for individual products.
- Actively collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, clients, and auditors to promote unified quality processes.
- Implement and support advanced work methods and technologies in quality control, scale-up, and production technology.
Profile
You’re an ideal candidate if you have:
- Higher education in engineering and/or production technologies and chemistry.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership position.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Experience in process improvement, efficiency measurement, and implementation of new methods.
- Strong analytical thinking, resilience in stressful situations, and an energetic, goal-oriented approach.
- A passion for improving processes, driving quality, and making a real impact.
- Fluent Latvian and English for effective communication with Soudal Group colleagues and suppliers.
