Online Marketeer (internal marketing agency)

The business of exhibitions and events eagerly picks up on digital applications.

Xpo Group's growth focus is on a smart balance between live events and digital platforms or communities. Digital tools must strengthen the F2F meetings, as well as the experience that makes fairs and events so unique.

To strengthen our growth, we are looking for a passionate experienced Online Marketer with focus on social media marketing, online advertising, email marketing and marketing automation. You will work in the internal marketing office of Xpo Group and work for the different brands.

Your role

As Online Marketer, you will be responsible for the development of the digital strategies together with the Exhibition Manager. You are responsible for the management, analysis and optimization of digital campaigns for the different fairs and events.

You bite into every briefing and you are full of original ideas. You know how to deploy online marketing tactics and combine them into performing online campaigns. You know how to measure and monitor the results of your actions through statistics and dashboards. You analyze and adjust where and when necessary.

For our fairs and events, you will be responsible for:

Developing content, online communication and advertising planning
Social media marketing: managing social media channels, expanding topicals, building community, creating creative content with video/audio/image and words, creating short aftermovie, setting up campaigns, reporting
Setting up high-performing paid campaigns, with continuous optimisation and adjustments based on insights and results.
E-mail marketing
Marketing automation
Maintenance and optimization of websites fairs and events
Analysing campaigns, website performance and market data, and translating insights into recommendations for future editions.

Your profile

As a digital beast, you are always the first to try out new applications and channels and you love to share your expertise with your colleagues. You have a fluent pen and you write flawless Dutch. You can also express yourself fluently in English. You can work independently but at the same time you are a real team player and you are focused on growth and further development.

You have a degree in Digital Marketing or a similar degree and at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
You are no-nonsense, hands-on, creative and you go for quality and results.
You can work in a structured way and keep an overview of many different projects.
You have experience with Meta Business Manager & LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Experience with Adobe XD and Premiere Pro is a plus.
You have knowledge of Google Tools (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager,...).
You are fluent in the tools and rules around web editing (CMS systems, HTML, SEO).
