Strategic Sales & Business Development

Develop and execute the sales strategy for EU institutions, agencies, and public sector organizations.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities aligned with company growth objectives.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive market engagement.
Drive revenue growth through existing accounts and strategic account expansion.
Monitor market trends, procurement plans, and upcoming opportunities within EU organizations.

Account Management

Manage relationships with key stakeholders across European Institutions, Agencies, and public sector clients.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop long-term account plans and growth strategies.
Coordinate internal teams to ensure successful delivery and client retention.

Public Procurement & Framework Contracts

Lead participation in EU and public sector procurement activities.
Identify and qualify framework contract opportunities and call for tenders.
Coordinate bid/no-bid decisions and contribute to proposal strategies.
Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and tender requirements.
Maintain strong knowledge of EU procurement procedures and contracting mechanisms.

Consortium & Partner Management

Build, manage, and expand strategic partnerships with technology vendors, consulting firms, and service providers.
Establish and lead consortiums for major framework contracts and large-scale opportunities.
Negotiate partnership agreements and collaboration models.
Maintain strong relationships with consortium partners and subcontractors.

Pipeline & Opportunity Management

Maintain accurate opportunity forecasting and reporting.
Drive the complete sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract award.
Monitor sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions when required.
Ensure CRM data accuracy and sales governance compliance.

Leadership & Market Positioning

Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Promote the company's capabilities within the EU institutional ecosystem.
Collaborate with delivery, recruitment, and management teams to align sales and operational strategies.
Mentor and support business development and account management teams where applicable.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, account management, or sales leadership.
Proven experience selling services and solutions to European Institutions, EU Agencies, or international public sector organizations.
Demonstrated success in managing large strategic accounts and achieving revenue targets.
Strong experience with framework contracts, public procurement, and competitive tendering processes.
Experience building and managing consortiums and partner ecosystems.

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent understanding of the European institutional landscape and procurement processes.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to develop long-term business strategies and execute sales plans.
Experience managing complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder opportunities.
Strong commercial acumen and business development capabilities.
Familiarity with IT services, digital transformation, consulting, or professional services environments is highly desirable.

Languages
