Would you like to help shape the digitalization of our production environments and contribute to our advanced MES landscape? As a Developer within the IT Manufacturing team, you will play a key role in building, maintaining and enhancing our MES solutions across our factories. Our custom MES solution, Shopfloor Control, is a cornerstone of our Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing initiatives.
In this role, you work closely with business analysts, product owners and other developers to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that directly support manufacturing excellence, efficiency and data-driven operations on the shop floor.
Your responsibilities
- You develop, maintain and enhance applications using .NET (C#), Angular and Oracle (PL/SQL)
- You translate functional requirements and user stories into robust, scalable and maintainable solution.
- You collaborate closely with business analysts,product owner, architects and other developers throughout the development lifecycle.
- You actively participate in agile ceremonies (2-week sprints, refinements, reviews and demos)
- You contribute to the design and integrations with shopfloor systems (PLC, SCADA, OPC, MQTT, …)
- You ensure high standards in code quality, performance, security and maintainability
- You proactively contribute to the modernization of our software architecture and development practices
- You explore and apply new technologies and AI to improve and accelerate development
- You support testing activities and resolve issues with a focus on root cause analysis
Who are you?
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or similar
- You have experience with .NET (C#), Angular and preferably Oracle (PL/SQL)
- You have a strong understanding of SQL and database concepts
- You are interested in modern software development practices (cloud-native, CI/CD, service-oriented architecture)
- You are curious about and eager to explore AI in software development
- You have an interest in manufacturing environments and industrial processes
- You are familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- You combine strong analytical skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
- You take ownership and are committed to delivering high-quality work
- You are assertive and not afraid to challenge ideas to improve solutions and ways of working
- You have strong communication skills and collaborate easily with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You are fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
