Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a E-connectivity Network Lead who is hands-on, collaborative and growth-oriented to join us in our Digital Infrastructure team, based in our Braine office in Belgium.
About the role
As E-connectivity Network Lead, you will shape and run a modern, business-critical network environment that supports research, offices, manufacturing and future-ready digital capabilities. You will combine technical leadership with people management, leading a team of network engineers while driving the delivery of key transformation initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong network architecture and operations background who wants to grow into a broader leadership role. You will help ensure our network services remain resilient, secure and compliant, while also contributing to the design of the next generation of connectivity across our global environment.
Who you’ll work with
You will be working in a team that plays a central role in keeping our connectivity landscape reliable, secure and ready for the future. The team supports a broad range of environments, from office networks and data centres to highly regulated manufacturing and laboratory settings. You will lead a group of engineers and work closely with colleagues in infrastructure, cybersecurity, manufacturing, engineering and digital teams, as well as external service partners. Together, you will support a major transformation journey towards more automated, scalable and high-performing network services.
What you’ll do
-
Lead a team of network engineers, supporting day-to-day operations, people development and high-quality delivery across corporate, research and manufacturing environments
-
Own the delivery of network projects from design through implementation, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, resilient and aligned with business needs
-
Maintain strong operational performance across the network estate, supporting incident resolution, service improvements, change management and smooth transition into steady operations
-
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver reliable connectivity for offices, laboratories, manufacturing sites and future digital initiatives
-
Contribute to the network roadmap and help shape long-term improvements in automation, performance, resilience and service quality
-
Provide technical leadership across network technologies, ensuring designs and operations meet regulatory, cybersecurity and quality expectations
-
Support financial planning, supplier oversight and prioritisation of delivery activities to ensure effective and sustainable service management
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in network engineering, infrastructure delivery or technology operations
-
Strong experience in enterprise network design, engineering and service delivery, ideally including responsibility for complex, business-critical environments
-
Hands-on knowledge of Cisco network technologies and solid understanding of secure network architecture and access control principles
-
Experience leading technical teams or coordinating engineers and service partners in an operational environment
-
Experience working in regulated environments; exposure to pharmaceutical or manufacturing settings would be an advantage
-
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences
-
Fluent in English; French would be an advantage
