Junior Product Developer
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Developer to join our Flatknit & Accessories team.
The Junior Product Developer collaborates closely with the Product Manager Flatknit & Accessories and reports to the Operations Director. During collection development, you will support the Product Manager in various development tasks, including the realization of sketches and tech packs. Once the collection has been developed, you will review collection samples, update and complete tech packs, prepare grading for size sets, and contribute to the final product adjustments before production. You will work with design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Kaledo and ensure accurate product data management within the PLM system.
Responsibilities:
Support the development of flatknit and accessory collections throughout the product development process.
Measure and verify the dimensions of prototypes, sales samples and production samples.
Conduct measurements and prepare detailed reports for suppliers.
Create and update technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator or similar software.
Review collection samples and contribute to product improvements before production.
Complete and update technical documentation, including grading and product specifications.
Input and maintain accurate product information in the PLM system.
Perform administrative tasks such as data analysis and invoice verification.
Profile:
You hold a technical fashion degree and have a first experience in flatknit and preferably accessories, ideally within women's and/or kidswear collections.
You have a basic understanding of garment construction, finishing techniques, sizing, fittings, patterns, yarns, fabrics and materials.
You are proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Kaledo or similar graphic design software.
You are familiar with ERP and PLM systems and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
You communicate fluently in English and French. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
You are highly organized, accurate and administratively strong.
You have an analytical mindset, a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of colour.
You are a team player, stress-resistant and eager to learn.
You are passionate about the technical aspects of garments and accessories.
