Arctik is a Brussels-based communication agency that puts sustainability first. We provide a broad range of communication services to European clients who focus on environmental and climate issues, circular economy, and sustainable development.
We are part of the leading science and innovation consultancy Technopolis Group.
We are looking for a creative and motivated communications intern with a strong interest in public sector projects and sustainability issues. We welcome an interest in writing content (website, newsletter, short articles, social media) and working with experts in digital transformation, urban sustainable development, energy for both organisation and public communication campaigns.
You will primarily contribute to one flagship project, while also providing ad-hoc support to other projects when needed. You will be given real responsibilities and operate as a full member of our team, with the support needed to develop your skills and explore areas of interest.

Qualifications and technical skills
Education
-
Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a master’s or postgraduate programme in communication or a related field
Languages

Excellent written and spoken English is essential

Knowledge of French, Dutch or another European language is an asset
Technical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g.Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in professional communications

Experience with graphic/video editing tools is a plus (but notrequired)

Familiarity or experience in editing website content (Drupal,Wordpressetc.)/ notrequired

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Work closely with the project team to ensure accuratere presentation of the project.

Understanding of communication planning and how to translate strategic objectives into concrete actions

Ability to write clear, engaging content for various formats and audiences (e.g.websites, newsletters, social media)

Confidence in working with complex content and making it accessible to non-specialists

Interest in developing creative approaches and new formats for communication

Track,analyse and report the impact of communication activities via relevant metrics

Interest in event organization is a plus

Support other kind of projects undertaken by Arctik when needed
