As a Talent Acquisition Officer, you play a key role in professionalising and strengthening our talent acquisition approach. You work closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and our communications lead to build an integrated, future‑focused recruitment strategy. You also represent ECS at various job fairs to strengthen our employer brand in the market.
Your Responsibilities
- Recruitment — You lead the recruitment process for a wide range of open positions across different departments, both in Belgium and in our international locations
- Collaboration with hiring managers and HRBPs — You act as a strategic partner and advisor throughout the entire recruitment cycle
- End‑to‑end recruitment — You manage the full process: CV screening, first interviews, sending assessments, following up on next steps and coordinating with all stakeholders
- Safeguarding the candidate experience — You ensure a warm, professional and consistent experience for every candidate, from first contact to contract signing and onboarding
- Building direct search capabilities — You develop an internal structure and approach that enables direct sourcing of critical profiles through LinkedIn, other channels, networking and market exploration (job fairs, schools, training programmes, …)
- Integrating recruitment marketing/employer branding — You ensure that our recruitment marketing efforts actively contribute to candidate inflow through strong content, visibility and a clear candidate value proposition
- Building a talent pipeline — You create and maintain a sustainable pool of potential candidates for current and future needs
- HR projects — You contribute to various HR recruitment projects (e.g., mapping our international recruitment partners)
Work Location
Your main workplace will be our office at Baron de Maerelaan 155, Zeebrugge. Occasionally, you will also work from our offices at Karveelstraat 3–5, Zeebrugge.
In the future, travel to our offices in Venlo (NL) and occasionally to other locations may be required.

Le profil
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a people‑oriented field, or equivalent through experience
- Experience recruiting for a variety of profiles; international recruitment experience is an asset
- Experience in the logistics and transport sector is a plus, not a must
- Strong knowledge of direct search, sourcing and recruitment process design
- Comfortable sourcing a wide range of profiles
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence in an advisory role
- Able to think strategically while executing operational tasks with ease
- Clear, professional and people‑oriented communication style
- Proactive, results‑driven and motivated to make an impact
- Fluent in Dutch, English and French to conduct interviews smoothly
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ATS systems
- Flexible in adapting to candidates’ availability
