To further future-proof our IT environment, we are looking for a System Engineer (Office IT) who enjoys taking responsibility and truly makes a difference.
In this role, you are not just support, you are the driving force behind our IT infrastructure.
What will you be doing?
You will take on a broad, autonomous role, contributing to both day-to-day operations and strategic improvements:
- Managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure (servers, networks, endpoints);
- Independently resolving technical issues and supporting colleagues (no reliance on external parties);
- Implementing and improving security measures;
- Performing upgrades and managing the lifecycle of systems;
- Actively thinking along about improvements, automation, and new tools;
- Collaborating with business teams to build IT solutions that deliver real value;
- Documenting and structuring IT processes.
Who are you?
- Several years of experience in a similar IT infrastructure / system engineering role;
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows environments
- Networks & infrastructure
- Experience with or interest in:
- Security / cybersecurity
- Automation
- (a plus) Linux
- You work independently but can also collaborate effectively with colleagues;
- You think proactively and solve problems in a solution-oriented way;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
A degree is less important than your experience and mindset.
