To support this, we are looking for a Global Healthcare Tender Specialist to drive and support healthcare tenders across air and ocean freight at both global and regional levels.
Your Role
As Global Healthcare Tender Specialist, you play a critical role in securing business opportunities within the healthcare sector. You ensure that tender processes are executed efficiently, compliant, and strategically aligned. You work closely with the tender teams, business development and quality teams to make Yusen the preferred partner for healthcare logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tender strategy preparation: understand scope, review RFIs/RFQs, and guide submissions
- Coordinate meetings from kickoff to final approval to ensure smooth tender processes
- Work with Airfreight & Ocean Freight teams to enhance tender competitiveness
- Build relationships with carriers’ Pharma Departments to secure the best rates and services
- Develop partnerships with packaging suppliers for optimal solutions
- Guide tender teams on potential investments in Healthcare Business and ROI planning
- Participate in carrier performance reviews focused on pharma/temperature-controlled services
- Facilitate post-mortems for healthcare tenders and follow up on actions
- Collaborate with global and regional Healthcare Industry Vertical teams
- Periodic international travel is required
Who You Are
We are looking for a proactive, experienced professional with strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and healthcare.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–10+ years of experience in procurement and healthcare/logistics
- Experience in tendering or commercial environments
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Management; CIPS qualification is a plus
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong knowledge of GDP and temperature-controlled logistics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to work independently in complex, multi-stakeholder, multicultural environments
- Proactive and structured
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Analytical, solution-focused, and detail-oriented
