The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) was established in 1917 to commemorate the 1.7 million Commonwealth servicemen and women who lost their lives after a courageous struggle during the First and Second World Wars. CWGC is responsible for the maintenance of war graves and memorials at more than 23,000 locations in 153 countries worldwide.

Your responsibilities
You carry out various horticultural maintenance tasks, including mowing grass, edging, weeding, pruning, planting flowers, etc.;
You are responsible for the safe use and maintenance of all work equipment in accordance with established standards;
You report any damage observed at cemeteries to your supervisor;
Your tasks vary depending on the season.
Your profile
You have a passion for gardening and an interest in horticulture, nature, and the environment;
Prior knowledge or experience is a plus but not required; you can learn everything on the job—motivation is much more important;

You take responsibility for your own safety and health;
You are flexible, punctual, and practical.
