Mission Overview:
Keystone Solutions is seeking an experienced Progress Developer for a consultancy mission at a client site. As a Progress OpenEdge Developer, you will play a key role in maintaining, modernizing, and extending business-critical applications. This position involves working in a hybrid environment that combines classic ABL development with modern API-driven architectures (PASOE). You will collaborate with analysts, project managers, and end users in a team of other Progress experts.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain applications in ABL (Advanced Business Language).

Design and optimize database access (OpenEdge DB).
-
Build and expose APIs via OpenEdge Studio.

Analyze and improve performance (queries, locking, transactions).
-
Integration with internal and external systems.
Profile:
Must-have skills:
-
Strong experience with Progress OpenEdge / ABL.
-
Solid understanding of temp-tables, datasets, buffers.
-
Transactions and locking (NO-LOCK, SHARE-LOCK, EXCLUSIVE-LOCK).

Experience with OpenEdge database design and performance tuning.

Knowledge of APIs.

Experience with PASOE (Progress Application Server).
Nice-to-have:

Experience with .NET.

Modern IDEs (Progress Developer Studio / PDSOE).

APIDOG.
