Description
As a Business Controller, you act as the financial and strategic sparring partner for management, operations and sales. You translate financial and operational data into clear insights and support the organisation in achieving its objectives.
You monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and formulate improvement measures relating to profitability, efficiency and project returns. In addition, you play an active role in the organisation’s ongoing digitalisation through Business Intelligence, data analysis and AI applications.
You will ensure that management has access to reliable insights and analyses to enable them to make informed decisions, thereby contributing directly to the organisation’s profitability, operational excellence and growth.
Drawing up and monitoring budgets, forecasts and management reports.
Analysing turnover, margins, costs, project profitability and KPIs.
Identifying deviations and advising on improvement measures.
Supporting strategic decisions with financial and operational analyses.
Acting as a business partner for senior management, operations and project teams.
Developing dashboards, reports and data-driven insights.
Implementing BI and AI solutions for forecasting, reporting and process optimisation.
Automating and improving financial and operational processes.
Supporting ERP and digitalisation projects.
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Studies or equivalent.
At least 5 years’ experience in Business Controlling, Finance, Audit or Financial Analysis.
Strong knowledge of reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
Experience with Excel, ERP systems and BI tools such as Power BI or Microsoft Fabric.
An affinity for data analysis, automation and AI.
Analytical, communicative, proactive and results-oriented.
A good knowledge in Dutch/French/English is necessary.
