ABOUT CURAFYT
Curafyt is a fast-growing scale-up in animal health, developing science-backed natural supplements for horses and dogs. Our mission is to combine science, transparency, and sustainability to create supplements that genuinely improve animal wellbeing. We work closely with 800+ veterinarians and 30,000+ animal caretakers across Europe, and we’re entering our next growth phase — including international expansion and a buy-and-build strategy.
THE ROLE
As Social Growth Manager, you are the creative and strategic force behind Curafyt’s digital presence. You translate our brand mission into scroll-stopping content, engaged communities, and creator partnerships that drive real growth — across Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. This role combines hands-on content creation with influencer management, community building, and performance thinking. You work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure our social channels reflect who we are and convert audiences into loyal Curafyt customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Execute the social media strategy across platforms (Insta, TikTok, YouTube and emerging channels)
- Develop recurring content formats aligned with brand positioning and audience segments (dog / horse)
- Plan and manage monthly content calendars, ensuring consistent cadence across all channel
- Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and content best practices
- Brand voice: Ability to translate complex, science-backed product claims into engaging, trustworthy social content, without losing credibility or dumbing it down
Video & Content Production
- Create short-form video content: Reels, TikToks, Shorts, Ads (comfortable producing creative assets and variations for paid social, with a clear handoff to the Perf. Marketing manager for campaign management and spend)
- Develop hooks, scripts, and storytelling structures that capture attention and drive engagement
- Produce both organic and paid creative variations, adapting format and tone for each objective
- Test new content formats and trends systematically
Influencer & Creator Ecosystem
- Identify, recruit, and onboard influencers & UGC creators
- Manage deliverables, usage rights, and collaboration agreements
- Track performance and ROI of partnerships
- Build long-term collaborations relationships
Community Management
- Manage daily community interactions: comments, DMs, and moderation across all platforms
- Activate conversations and increase engagement through proactive community participation
- Encourage user-generated content (UGC) and community participation / co-creation
- Monitor feedback and sentiment; flag relevant insights to the broader team
Performance & Growth Optimisation
- Track engagement, reach, retention, and conversion metrics
- Identify high-performing formats and scale them
- Collaborate with performance marketing on creative testing
- Support acquisition and LTV growth objectives
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, preferably in a brand or agency environment
- Proven track record of growing social media audiences, driving engagement and building communities on Instagram, Facebook and/or TikTok, preferably for e-commerce brands
- Hands-on video production skills: you can ideate, shoot, and edit short-form content independently
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, platform mechanics & content performance drivers
- Experience managing influencer or UGC creator programmes, incl. briefing & performance tracking, affiliate programs and reward mechanisms
- Analytical mindset: comfortable reading dashboards, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions
- Dutch native or near-native speaker, essential for independently producing, reviewing, and quality-controlling Dutch-language content and community interactions. Working proficiency in English or French.
- Creative, self-starting, and comfortable working at pace in a scale-up environment
Nice to Have
- Affinity with or personal interest in horses, dogs, or animal wellbeing
- Experience with paid social (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads) or collaboration with perf. marketing teams
- An existing network of relevant creators or influencers in the Belgian, Dutch, or equestrian/pet community. Or similar experience in the animal health, pet care, veterinary or health & wellness sector
- Graphic design or motion skills (Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar) and experience with AI content optimization tools
