We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Shopify Project Manager to join our growing e-commerce development team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of Shopify projects while ensuring that milestones are met, and quality standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing e-commerce development projects and possess excellent communication skills to coordinate team efforts and maintain client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation,delivery to technical support team, for multiple Shopify development projects
- Develop project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget, in collaboration with clients and team members
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project objectives are met and expectations are managed
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or roadblocks, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to clients and team members on project milestones, deliverables, and potential issues
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices for Shopify development
- Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and project documentation
- Foster a collaborative team environment and resolve any conflicts that may arise during project execution Continuously improve project management processes and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in e-commerce or web development projects
- Solid understanding of the Shopify platform, including theme development, app integrations, and best practices
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and processes (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on project
- deadlines and client needs
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing
- project requirements
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget
- Experience with project management software, such as Trello, Asana, or Basecamp
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, IT, or Computer Science, is
- preferred
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus
