Background:
UNICC serves as the shared digital services provider for the United Nations ecosystem,
delivering technology solutions to UN agencies and partners. In this capacity, UNICC must ensure the security and integrity of digital assets across the UN family through comprehensive security assessment services.
Required Technical Team Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Red Team experience
- Advanced infrastructure and application security skills
- One or more of the following certifications:
o OSCE (Offensive Security Certified Expert)
o OSEP (Offensive Security Experienced Penetration Tester)
o CRTP (Certified Red Team Professional)
o CRTO (Certified Red Team Operator)
Key requirements:
The service provider shall conduct Red Team exercises simulating sophisticated adversaries using a systematic, goal-based approach. This includes advanced persistence techniques, stealth operations, and multi-vector attacks while maintaining strict operational security. All activities must be documented with detailed attack paths and timestamps.
Specifically, shall:
- Execute attack scenarios based on defined objectives and success criteria
- Apply MITRE ATT&CK framework for technique mapping
- Maintain detailed logs of all activities for incident reconstruction
- Follow established safety measures and rules of engagement
- Provide interim status updates through secure channels
- Stop activities immediately upon UNICC request
