Junior Application Support & Helpdesk Technician
Full-Time Position | Permanent or Fixed-Term Contract | International Environment
Allo Intérim & Consulting partners with organizations across the public and private sectors to identify technical profiles capable of evolving within demanding, multicultural environments.
As part of a project with a strong European dimension, we are currently seeking a hybrid profile, combining both application support and first-level technical assistance.
Main Responsibilities
The selected candidate will operate in a dual capacity, providing both functional support for business applications and technical support related to standard IT infrastructure and tools.
Application Support
As a key point of contact for end users, your role will involve ensuring the functional continuity of business-critical applications. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling functional incidents (e.g. application errors, interface malfunctions, data issues)
- Providing user support and guidance on application usage and best practices
- Drafting and updating user documentation, guides, and procedures
- Participating in functional testing of new features, patches, or updates
- Acting as a liaison between end users and technical teams (developers, integration, project management)
IT Helpdesk Support (Level 1)
In addition to application-related responsibilities, you will provide technical support for common IT issues, ensuring a seamless user experience. Key tasks include:
- Managing incoming requests via ticketing system, email, or phone
- Diagnosing and resolving basic IT issues (e.g. password resets, network access, printer or software problems)
- Ensuring proper ticket tracking and communication with users until resolution
- Escalating complex incidents to the appropriate second-level teams
- Occasionally assisting with equipment setup, configuration, or preventive maintenance tasks
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
- Initial experience in IT support or application support would be considered an asset
- Good knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong sense of customer service, ability to prioritize, and analytical thinking
- A team-oriented attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously
- Willingness to learn and grow in both technical and functional domains
