As a Project Manager, you take responsibility for coordinating projects related to firefighting, radiological protection and prevention advice in a highly regulated nuclear environment. Together with your teams, you monitor progress, budgets and agreements, and you work in close coordination with internal and external partners on the Doel site.

- develop project plans with clear objectives, timelines, resources and budgets
- guide and coordinate firefighting and radiological protection teams throughout the entire project life cycle
- monitor project progress, discuss points of attention and work towards timely delivery
- identify and further explore opportunities with existing and potential customers
- prepare and present proposals and quotations in consultation with the parties involved
- follow developments within the sector and the market to identify growth opportunities
- work with sales and marketing to align projects with the company strategy
- involve internal and external stakeholders and align expectations transparently
- build sustainable collaborations and monitor stakeholder satisfaction
- coordinate several teams, together representing around 70 employees
- foster a working environment where results, collaboration and leadership come together
- organise feedback moments, provide coaching and support professional development
- carry out financial analyses to deploy budgets and resources thoughtfully
- monitor project costs and safeguard financial objectives
- report on financial status and project results to management
- identify risks and opportunities within projects
- develop and implement measures to mitigate risks and seize opportunities
- ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations
- manage radiological protection protocols and procedures in line with nuclear sector standards
- a bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is an advantage
- experience in the nuclear sector or with projects related to fire safety and radiological protection is a strong asset
- initial experience in project management is an advantage
- experience in guiding teams and supporting employees
- insight into financial analysis and budget follow-up
- interest in or familiarity with the nuclear sector
- clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate smoothly with various stakeholders
- ability to work in a structured way within clear deadlines
- fluent knowledge of Dutch and English, with a good command of French
