Mission
As part of an Agile organization, the Infrastructure Engineer (iOps) operates within the APS Business Support domain linked to the Risk & Support Tribe. The role’s main mission is to ensure the stability, security, and performance of technical environments (production and non‑production) while supporting application delivery and continuous improvement efforts. The Infrastructure Engineer actively participates in Agile ceremonies and contributes to the successful delivery of IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Support development teams in project delivery and environment configuration.
Manage API‑related activities: exposure, consumption, testing, and monitoring.
Handle file transfer operations including configuration, testing, and monitoring.
Perform general IT infrastructure tasks, ensuring systems’ availability and reliability.
Contribute to Cloud migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Coordinate and execute software releases across environments.
Perform Run and maintenance activities on existing assets.
Set up and manage SSO/MFA activation and related access control processes.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to strengthen environment stability and deployment efficiency.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in system or infrastructure engineering.
Experienced in Agile methodologies (Scrum, DevOps culture).
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
Operating systems: Linux, Windows Server.
Scripting and automation: PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, Git.
Deep understanding of Cloud environments and virtualization technologies.
Technical Skills (Preferred)
API management tools (Apigee, Axway).
DevOps ecosystem: Jenkins, Helm Chart, Nexus, hVault, Docker, Kubernetes.
Networking knowledge: VPN, NAT, routing, firewalls.
Experience with file transfer solutions (Axway).
Knowledge of SSO/MFA integrations and authentication systems.
