We currently have an open position as SENIOR RADIO DESIGN EXPERT.
The Senior Radio Design Engineer is responsible for the definition and the follow-up of the 3 years investment plan in the RAN network of each mobile operator.
He/she will be collecting the technical requirements for RAN networks and will prepare the 3-years investment plan for each operator, in alignment with the deployment plan.
This includes developing high level analysis and studies that will allow to drive the investment in the most efficient ways, considering the various drivers such as site guidelines, capacity needs and capacity planning, energy consumption, equipment maintenance, field interventions, automation, etc.
Your Mission
As a Senior Radio Design Expert, you will:
- Prepare the 3 years investment plan of the mobile operator for the RAN network.
- Collect from all the MWingz technical teams all the inputs to model this 3 years investment plan.
- Collect from the mobile operator their requirements regarding the Radio network evolution for the next 3 years.
- Ensure coordination with the deployment teams to get an alignment between the deployment plan and the 3-years investment plan.
- Prepare, present and defend the results of the plan to all the stakeholders, i.e., the technical teams, MWingz management, financial controllers and Operator demand team
- Follow the financial evolution of the plan to anticipate all modifications to be taken into account for the next plan update.
- Support the procurement team to assess budget impacts, for instance, in the frame of Supplier contractual and commercial negotiations.
- Support the financial team for budget follow-up, to assess major deviations in the investment plan.
- Drive the preparation of the business cases for specific deployment projects, covering specifications, timing, capex and opex impacts.
- Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to develop optimal network architectures and deployment strategies.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to advance the standardization and automation of network solutions.
- Collaborate within the design team to ensure consistency between strategic studies, design assumptions, and deployment plans
- Propose and implement improvements in the forecast models capacity, energy, etc in order to increase predictability of the forecast.
- Conduct market research and analyzed industry trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Ability to assess intake impacts, identify stakeholders, and prepare structured summaries for the management.
- Competence in collecting and consolidating technical inputs from various Engineering, Build, Indoor, and Optim teams for intake readiness.
- Ability to ensure that intake documentation is clear, complete, and ready for handover to PM, or Engineering teams, depending on the workflow stage.
