As a ServiceNow Developer, you’ll be part of a small but fast-growing team that fully owns the ServiceNow platform. The platform is a strategic pillar within BDO and continues to expand across multiple business processes. You’ll work independently, collaborate closely with stakeholders, and actively shape the platform’s future.
What will you be doing?:
- Supporting end users and key users with incidents, questions, and small changes.

Developing and debugging complex scripts, including Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.

Working in an agile setup, translating epics into stories and delivering in sprints.

Contributing to projects that introduce new functionality or extend existing and new modules.

Developing in a dev environment and migrating changes correctly via update sets or scoped applications.

Participating in platform and module upgrades (ITSM, CSM, WSD), including preparation, testing, clone-backs, and post-upgrade checks.

Phasing out or replacing legacy custom applications when needed.

Maintaining documentation and sharing knowledge within the team.

Continuously learning about new ServiceNow modules, features, and best practices.

Actively contributing ideas around performance optimization, governance, and platform improvements.
What do you bring to the table?:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

Strong knowledge of JavaScript within ServiceNow and the ability to independently build and understand complex scripts.

Experience with update sets, scoped applications, and application lifecycle management.

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow upgrades, including cloning, testing, and upgrade-related processes.

Solid knowledge of ITSM; experience with CSM and WSD is a strong plus.

ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, micro-certifications) are an asset, not a must.

Fluent communication skills in English and Dutch or French.

Willingness to work part of the week from our Zaventem office, combined with home working.
