As a Account Manager at Molenbergnatie, you will have a dual role where you are both operationally responsible for the export and warehousing services for our clients and their soft commodity products (coffee, cocoa, soy, rice, bulgur, nuts, and dried fruits) and actively manage the account management for your assigned customer portfolio. You will do this from one of our offices in the port area of Antwerp.
Your Responsibilities:
Operational Tasks - Customer Service:
Managing inbound and outbound goods flows ️ in communication with agents, shipping companies, and transporters.
Daily contact with customers, agents, and shipping lines regarding all actions taken, always via email or phone .
Monitoring stock, registering, and confirming purchases and sales by the customer.
Preparing certificates and simple customs documents, as well as placing orders for specialized documentation.
Providing unloading instructions and additional sampling tasks to the customer service support team.
Invoicing and document management are also on your to-do list.
Account Management Tasks (After Gaining Experience or Completing On-the-Job Training):
Acting as the commercial point of contact for the customer, including periodic customer meetings and regular communication.
Working towards expanding more or new business opportunities with existing clients.
Developing and implementing rates and managing annual rate negotiations.
Handling and following up on complaints and disputes.
