In this role, you will drive sustainable growth, profitability and market leadership by defining and executing a clear, forward-looking category and portfolio strategy in a B2B2C environment. You combine strong market insight with a customer-centric mindset, translating trends and opportunities in the residential segment into impactful and competitive product propositions.
You will play a key role in ensuring a future-proof offering, strengthening our market position, and unlocking new growth opportunities. This is a high-impact role with direct influence on the long-term success and development of the Sheet Vinyl business.
- You define and lead the category vision and roadmap, both on short-term and mid-term horizon. You define and drive the go-to-market strategy across B2B2C channels including retail, DIY, distributors and installers.
- You develop and continuously optimize the full product portfolio, ensuring a clear and competitive good–better–best structure aligned with market needs. You actively contribute to the modernization and differentiation of the Sheet Vinyl category, including attracting new and younger target groups.
- You actively monitor portfolio performance and use data (e.g. sales, margins, win/loss analyses) to steer decisions and improvements. You translate insights into clear actions related to portfolio, pricing and marketing strategies.
- You identify portfolio gaps, white spaces and innovation opportunities, translating these into clear strategic priorities. Therefore, you stay ahead of key trends in design, application and consumer preferences and integrate these into the category strategy.
- You act as the central link between Sales, R&D, Marketing and Operations, ensuring alignment on category priorities.
- You lead, coach and develop a team consisting of a product manager and creative marketeers. You foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. You balance strategic leadership with hands-on involvement, depending on team maturity and business needs. #LI-MD1
