As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional production team where engineering, quality, maintenance and operations work closely together to continuously improve processes, yield and quality.
As a Senior Process Engineer, you analyze, develop and implement improvements in highly automated production processes to sustainably increase quality, yield and efficiency. You thrive in a dynamic environment where initiative, problem‑solving and collaboration are key. Acting as a bridge between production and projects, you contribute from concept to stable implementation.
Analyze existing production processes to identify, test and implement improvements, and resolve current issues
Optimize production systems with a strong focus on OEE, quality and yield
Define, implement and safeguard process standards, including CP and CPK monitoring
Identify, prioritize and analyze bottlenecks using data-driven insights and structured problem-solving methodologies
Define success criteria and ensure thorough root cause analyses of production issues
Develop, coordinate and implement cross-functional improvement initiatives, ensuring sustainable results
Take an active role in change management through training, procedures and clear communication
Implement and optimize digital systems to monitor and analyze production performance
Act as the link between production and project teams for new installations, from initiation through aftercare
Manage the complete COC process and lead p-FMEA activities, ensuring feedback to SIPOC
Prepare and actively participate in daily production meetings, supporting operational follow-up
Contribute to TPM activities, including maintenance planning and execution
Support calibration activities and perform MSAs
Safeguard inspection readiness and ensure compliance with audit requirements
Participate in internal and external audits, as well as client visits
- Master’s degree in Electromechanics or equivalent, or a Bachelor’s degree with additional relevant experience
- At least 5 years of experience in production environments with fully automated assembly lines
- Strong knowledge of process expertise (technology & delivery base, implementation, risks), process control tools (such as 6S), engineering studies and process capability
Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis
Six Sigma certification (minimum Green Belt)
- Affinity with PLCs, robotics, cobots, AI or industrial engineering
Open to change and motivated to continuously learn new skills
Proactive in tackling challenges and finding solutions when outcomes are not immediately clear
- Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills
- Natural team player who enjoys cross-functional collaboration
- Fluent in Dutch and English
