Equine Anesthetist
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Equine Anesthetist to join our dynamic team at Via Nova Equine Services in Bree, Belgium. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality care to equine patients.
Position Details
Role: Equine Anesthetist- Schedule: 4 days per week
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Salary: Competitive, based on education and experience
Key Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia services for a wide range of equine procedures- Monitor and manage patients before, during, and after anesthesia
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and veterinary staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Contribute to the development and improvement of anesthesia protocols
Requirements
Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Europe- One of the following:
o ECVAA Diplomate
o Board-eligible resident (ECVAA)
o Veterinarian with strong interest and proven experience in equine anesthesia
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to high standards of animal care and welfare
