Our partner is a Belgian services group with a large customer base and a strong reputation in its sector. The organization is financially healthy and is now strengthening its finance function as it digitizes and scales for the next phase. From the Brussels region you work closely with the Finance Director and a tight management team, with occasional travel to the regional offices.
Your responsibilities as Finance Manager
You lead, coach and develop the finance team of around eight people and translate the group's strategy into clear direction for the function
You own the full management reporting cycle including budgets, forecasts and variance analysis and advise the Finance Director and management on the back of clear financial insights
You manage statutory accounts, VAT and corporate tax and ensure compliance with all legal, audit and internal control requirements
You document and optimize the end-to-end finance processes, detect bottlenecks and drive structural improvements and digitalization
You play an active role in the implementation of new systems and digital ways of working and guide the team through change
You are the senior finance lead inside the business and the partner who makes finance a real differentiator for the group.
Your profile as Finance Manager
Master in Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, including team leadership in a services environment
Fluent in Dutch or French, with good knowledge of English
The Offer
Salary between €80.000 and €90.000 gross per year, depending on experience
