How You’ll Make an Impact:
The Director, Clinical Development – EMEAI serves as the senior regional Clinical Development leader and primary clinical liaison for the EMEAI region. This role supports global clinical development programs across primarily pharmaceutical products, with some combination products, spanning multiple ophthalmology indications. This role supports direct study execution in region, serving as a regional touchpoint for investigators and key opinion leaders and is responsible for local study performance (site identification, activation, enrollment, etc.).
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary Clinical representative for the EMEAI region, providing clinical and regional insight to global clinical development programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and investigators across EMEAI.
- Support regional study feasibility, startup, and performance in partnership with regional partners.
- Provide regional clinical input into global development strategies, protocols, and study designs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory, Biostats/Data Management, Science/Medical Writing, CMC and Global Clinical Operations.
How You’ll Get There:
- Extensive experience in pharmaceutical clinical development, with exposure to combination products preferred.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with KOLs and investigators in ophthalmology and/or rare diseases across international regions.
- Strong understanding of GCP and global clinical development principles.

Education
Advanced degree in a scientific, medical, or health-related discipline
(PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent preferred).
