About the role

As an IT/OT Engineer, you will translate business and technical requirements into robust, future-proof IT/OT solutions within a pharmaceutical environment. You combine knowledge of IT infrastructure and operational technology with a strong focus on compliance, efficiency, and innovation.

Your responsibilities

Analyse business and technical requirements
Design and document IT/OT architectures and system topologies
Support implementation and coordinate integrations with vendors
Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP, and relevant regulations
Drive process optimization and automation initiatives
Engage with stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals

Your profile

You have 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in a pharmaceutical environment
You have strong knowledge of IT infrastructures and automation systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC, MES, Historians)
You understand system architectures, integrations, data flows, and communication protocols
You are familiar with GMP/GAMP requirements and pharma compliance standards
You are an effective communicator, able to explain and defend technical solutions to stakeholders
You are a team player with proven leadership capabilities when needed
You are fluent in English
You are based in or willing to relocate to the Kempen region, Belgium
