YOUR TASKS
You contribute to research activities (lab based and field studies) within the study into the link between the environment and physical activity, with particular attention to environmental physiology. You support the doctoral student assigned to this topic. You are part of the “Physical Activity and Health” research group of the Department of Movement and Sport Sciences at Ghent University.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You hold a PhD degree in Health Sciences or similar.
- You have experience in research within exercise and environmental physiology, linked to physical activity and health.
- You have experience with research in the context of heat resistance.
- You speak fluent Dutch to interact with research subjects (minimum C1 level).
- You have an interest in and are proficient (recommended) in statistical analyses (using R, SAS, STATA).
- You possess social skills to collaborate with international partners in an interdisciplinary context.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
- We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period of 4 months.
- Your contract will start on 1/08/2026 at the earliest.
