4.1 Sales & Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and close deals with European food importers, ethnic wholesalers, distributors, supermarket chains, and online retail platforms
- Build and maintain a pipeline of active buyer leads across Belgium, Netherlands, France, and Germany as priority markets
- Negotiate commercial terms (pricing, volumes, delivery schedules, payment terms) with buyers
- Manage key account relationships and ensure repeat orders and long-term contracts
- Represent the initiative at food trade fairs including Anuga, SIAL Paris, and Fine Food Belgium
4.2 Product & Supplier Management
- Work with the Jordan-side liaison to onboard and manage Jordanian supplier companies
- Develop product pricing strategy based on Jordanian wholesale costs plus target margin
- Ensure product specifications, MOQs, and delivery timelines are aligned between suppliers and buyers
- Identify highest-potential products for EU market entry and advise on product adaptation where needed
4.3 Market Compliance & Logistics
- Oversee EU food labeling compliance (ingredient declarations, allergens, country of origin) for all products
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners on shipment planning and customs clearance
- Manage relationships with 3PL storage and distribution partners in Belgium
- Ensure all imported products meet EU food safety and import regulations
4.4 Commercial Operations & Reporting
- Maintain a CRM or sales tracking system with up-to-date buyer pipeline, order status, and revenue figures
- Prepare monthly sales reports including pipeline status, closed deals, revenue generated, and margin performance
- Support the setup of the commercial entity (BV/SRL) including banking, VAT registration, and EORI number
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging buyer needs in the EU ethnic and specialty food segment
