The team;
You will join an established VAT team of 6 professionals:
- 1 Junior
- 2 Seniors
- 2 Managers
- 1 Partner
The ambition is to grow the team to 15-20 VAT specialists over the coming years, offering clear long-term career prospects.
The role;
Depending on your level (Senior, Manager, or Senior Manager), you will:
- Focus primarily on VAT advisory work (significantly more advisory than compliance)
- Advise Belgian and international clients on complex VAT matters
- Work closely with clients, with time to go into detail and deliver high-quality, tailored advice
- Build long-term client relationships in a less fee-pressured environment
- Support and coach junior team members
- Collaborate closely with Partners and colleagues across the firm
Compliance is limited, with 1 dedicated FTE handling VAT compliance full-time.
Your profile;
- 3-7+ years of VAT experience, ideally within a Big 4 or large advisory environment
- Strong technical VAT knowledge and an interest in advisory-driven work
- Client-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
- Fluent in Dutch; good knowledge of English (French is a plus)
- Motivated to grow with the firm and contribute to its long-term development
