To strengthen our Payroll team at our headquarters in Brussels (Evere), we are looking for a Junior Payroll Officer. You will join a supportive team of experts to guarantee the reliability, accuracy, and simplicity of our personnel administration.
Your Playground
You manage the complete payroll cycle (from A to Z), you ensure compliance with social legislation, oversee processes, follow and share your expertise with colleagues, and act as the expert point of contact for employees and external partners, optimizing systems and guaranteeing data accuracy.

Personnel & payroll administration: Manage the monthly payroll cycle. You accurately monitor absences, holidays, sick leave, and keep our HR database perfectly up to date.

Legal compliance: Apply collective labor agreements (CCT) and Belgian social laws to daily operations, ensuring contracts, active files, and amendments are fully compliant.

Teammate support: Answer payroll and social benefits questions (insurance, simple contractual situations) from employees and store managers with clarity and empathy.

Collaboration: Working with Finance, HR, the social secretariat, and external providers to guarantee data accuracy.

Training: Training store managers and team leaders to help them gain autonomy and expertise.

Process optimization: Participate in the implementation of new HR procedures and help test or optimize our HRIS systems.

We are also looking for a profile that :

has at least 2 years of proven experience in payroll or personnel administration (working with a social secretariat or in a corporate HR department). Having already an experience with international mobility files is a plus.

is proficient in the Google Suite and comfortable with data tables for analyses.

is fluent in French and/or Dutch and you are able to express yourself in English.

Flexibility: You work on a basis of standard office hours with the possibility of homeworking up to 2 days a week, with necessary flexibility during end-of-month closing periods.
