Function Description
Implementing Engagement & Sustainability Strategy:
Collaborate with stakeholders, communities and colleagues in the Engagement & Sustainability team to impactfully implement our sustainability strategy.
Optimise our initiatives in an agile manner, thereby building a coherent approach, together with different stakeholders within our bank.
Actively involve all colleagues in the bank’s sustainability initiatives.
Programme Lead for ‘financial inclusion’ initiatives within the Corporate Engagement scope:
Coördinate with different stakeholders, give strategic direction and maintain overview of ongoing projects.
Report back and follow up on evolution of the objectives and key results.
Follow-up on impact measurement methodology for our social and biodiversity programs
Supporting the Sustainability Community: assist our own team and the sales animation teams in driving a sustainability community within the bank in all segments
Co-create strategic content & events together with the MarCom teams, internally as well as externally, in order to position our bank as a leader in sustainable finance and a socially engaged bank
Education
Master degree or equal through experience
Required Experience
At least 6 years of relevant experience
Technical Experience
Mandatory
Digital Proficiency: Experienced with engagement platforms, project management tools, and digital applications (MS Office, Teams, etc.).
Creativity & Clarity: Able to summarise complex subjects clearly and creatively.
Structured & Detail-Oriented: Works in a systematic and meticulous manner.
Business Experience

Experience with (sustainability) projects in the financial sector in Belgium, knowledge of banking products and services.
Knowledge of and affinity with sustainability topics and in particular also the social angle of ESG.
