Salary Range: €43,000 – €53,000 per year, depending on experience
The Role
Are you mechanically minded, hands-on, and looking for a role where your work genuinely helps protect lives?
We are looking for a Lifeboat Service Technician to join our Antwerp team. In this role, you will inspect, maintain, test and repair lifesaving equipment, including lifeboats and launching systems. You will work both in the workshop and, when required, on offshore or customer sites.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in mechanical, maintenance, electrical or high-pressure gas environments who is looking to develop specialist skills in survival technology.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Opening, testing, weighing and repacking safety products and equipment

Inspecting first aid kits and ensuring all items are in date and fit for use

Installing, maintaining and repairing lifesaving equipment

Carrying out preventive maintenance inspections and diagnosing repair needs

Supporting workshop, customer site and offshore activities

Working with internal teams, customers and external stakeholders

Completing reports following inspections and tests

Ensuring daily workloads are completed safely and efficiently

Sharing ideas to improve our products, processes and ways of working
We are looking for someone who has:

Experience in a mechanical, maintenance or electrical role

Experience working with high-pressure gas

Education to high school level or equivalent

A valid driver’s licence

Good command of the English language, both written and spoken

Excellent attention to detail

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering scheduled work

Willingness to travel when required
