As a Tender Engineer, you’ll strengthen our Dredging tender team and help shape strong, well‑founded proposals for projects around the world. You don’t need any dredging experience — we provide full in‑house training in our techniques, processes and execution methods. What matters most is your analytical mindset, eagerness to learn and motivation to dive into complex dossiers.

Your Role
As a Tender Engineer, you are involved at the very start of each project trajectory. You bring together technical insights, numbers and ideas to create a clear and achievable plan, collaborating closely with colleagues across multiple disciplines. You structure information, keep the overview and translate it into convincing proposals.
Your role in a nutshell:
Analyse technical, legal and commercial documents and distinguish key points from details
Translate designs into clear, structured and persuasive texts for tenders and internal decision‑making
Bring together colleagues from engineering, finance, legal, QHSSE and other teams to define the right approach
Monitor costs, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers and safeguard financial feasibility
Work with the Area and Tender Manager on a technical and commercial action plan that stands out
Summarise new tenders concisely and support management in making quick decisions
Keep the subcontractor quotation database accurate and up to date
You’ll join a close‑knit team where knowledge sharing is second nature. You grow every day, take on increasing responsibility and contribute to projects with global impact.
What do you need to have?
A master’s degree in engineering
Motivation to learn about dredging techniques and complex projects (experience not required)
Strong analytical skills and excellent writing abilities
Planning and organisational talent
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Flexibility and perseverance when deadlines tighten
Willingness to travel occasionally
Strong command of Dutch and English
