Our partner is an established player in logistics and transport with a strong Belgian footprint and an international group structure. The organization runs a fast-paced volume-driven operation and is now strengthening its business controlling capacity. From the Brussels region you work closely with the Finance Director and partner daily with depot, transport and operations managers.
Your responsibilities as Business Controller
You monitor, analyze and explain the monthly financial results, including variances against budget and prior periods, and lead the budget and forecast cycles in line with operational reality
You develop, track and challenge the KPIs that link financial and operational data such as volumes, productivity, headcount and cost structures
You partner with depot, transport and operations managers to review performance, challenge results and translate analyses into actionable corrective measures
You prepare and deliver periodic reporting to the group, including volumes, FTEs and financials, and act as a key contact for the auditors
You drive process and tool improvements across budgeting, forecasting, reporting and data quality, including dashboard development in QlikSense and ERP optimization
You are the finance voice the operational side of the business actually listens to.
Your profile as Business Controller
Master in Applied Economics, Business Engineering, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis or a similar role
Fluent in Dutch or French and English

Salary between €60.000 and €70.000 gross per year, depending on experience
