To strengthen our engineering team, we are looking for an Automation Engineer who is passionate about industrial automation, software development and digital transformation. In this role, you will work on international projects, helping customers design and implement advanced process control solutions based on Siemens technologies.
You will join a team of experienced engineers and project managers who collaborate closely to deliver reliable, future-proof solutions for customers worldwide.
Your task:
- Work closely with automation engineers and project managers on local and international projects.
- Design and implement automation and digitalization solutions for process industry customers.
- Develop concepts and standards for worldwide PCS 7 implementations.
- Create custom scripts, interfaces and engineering tools when required.
- Translate customer requirements into efficient and reliable technical solutions.
- Perform testing, commissioning and validation activities.
- Prepare project documentation and deliverables in accordance with GMP requirements.
- Customize and optimize solutions based on customer-specific needs.
- Share technical knowledge, best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Your skills:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Automation, Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, process control systems and software development.
- Experience with databases, data modelling and scripting is an asset.
- Knowledge of SIMATIC PCS 7 and/or SIMATIC Batch is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in an international and multidisciplinary
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to travel for project activities.
