Junior Sales Trader – Candidate Profile
We are looking for a Junior Sales Trader (1–2 years of experience) to join our Brussels or Antwerp office full-time.
Must-have requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in trading, brokerage, commodity markets, or a related financial/sales environment
- Fluent English (mandatory) – both written and spoken
- Fluency in either German or Spanish (mandatory)
- Strong client-facing / commercial mindset with proven ability to manage customer relationships
- Good understanding of trading operations, market dynamics, or structured commodity flows
- Strong analytical skills (ability to interpret prices, data, and market signals)
- Excellent communication skills and professional confidence in client interactions
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or similar
Nice to have
- Exposure to environmental commodities (GoOs, carbon, certificates, biogas, etc.)
- Additional languages (French, Dutch, etc.)
- Experience in a fast-paced trading / brokerage environment
- Strong interest in sustainability markets and energy transition

- Curious, fast learner, and commercially driven
- Comfortable working in a high-performance trading environment
- Team-oriented but able to take ownership of client relationships quickly
