Kaneka Eurogentec is an internationally successful biotech group, part of Kaneka. The company has developed a broad technological platform, which is organized in separate business units, subsidiaries, and production facilities. For our Biopharma CDMO Business, we are looking for a (m/f):

Biopharma Sales Director

The Biopharma Sales Director is part of the management team of the Biopharma Business Unit and reports to the Head of Business Unit.
This role requires a highly driven, hands-on commercial leader who combines strategic vision with a strong hunter mentality. The successful candidate will accelerate business growth, expand the customer base, and drive commercial excellence across global markets.

Your Responsibilities

Lead, inspire and develop the Biopharma Sales team to consistently achieve ambitious growth targets and strengthen KEGT's market position worldwide.
Continuously adjust and execute a result-driven sales strategy aligned with the Business Unit growth objectives.
Drive a strong business development culture focused on prospecting, customer acquisition, pipeline generation and sustainable revenue growth.
Personally engage in strategic business development activities and support the acquisition of key accounts and high-value opportunities.
Identify, qualify and convert new commercial opportunities into long-term customer relationships.
Expand KEGT's presence within existing accounts while actively developing new markets and customer segments.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in leading Biopharma companies.
Lead sales performance through clear KPIs, dashboards and rigorous pipeline management.
Challenge current practices and continuously improve sales processes, customer engagement models and commercial effectiveness.
Work closely with scientific, marketing, market strategy and operations teams to ensure successful business development and customer satisfaction.
Act as a commercial ambassador for KEGT and represent the company at key industry events, conferences and customer meetings.

Your Profile

Master's degree in Sciences, Bioengineering or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of biotechnology, molecular biology and Biopharma development.
Proven track record in a senior commercial leadership role within a Biopharma CDMO environment.
Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers, expanding strategic accounts and delivering significant revenue growth.
Strong experience in complex B2B consultative selling and long sales cycle environments.
Experience selling innovative technologies, services or solutions within the Biopharma industry is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in demanding and competitive environments and consistently deliver results.
Experience leading and transforming commercial organizations to support ambitious growth objectives.
