Easybox is a modern, fast and simple invoicing and solution designed for businesses and freelancers who are tired of clunky, slow, and over-complicated administrative software. We are rebuilding how businesses manage their daily operations from the ground up, combining powerful database logic with a polished, premium user experience. We care deeply about the details—from snappy page transitions and clean UI layouts to robust, high-precision data handling.
We are looking for an experienced React / TypeScript developer to join our team as a freelance contractor. This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving meaningful problems, and having a direct impact on a product used by real customers.
You will work closely with a small team, contributing not only to implementation but also to technical decisions, user experience improvements, and the overall direction of the application.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building applications with React and TypeScript.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team.
- Available to work as a freelance contractor.
- Experience with Jira, Git, and GitLab as part of a modern development workflow.
- Strong engineering judgment with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. You know when a simple, cost-effective solution is the right choice, and when investing in a more robust solution is essential because quality, reliability, or maintainability cannot be compromised.
- Able to work with a high degree of autonomy and thrive in environments with loosely defined requirements. You can break down ambiguous problems, make sound technical decisions, and drive work forward with minimal supervision.
- An interest in UX, with the ability to contribute to and influence the application's user experience and interface design.
- Comfortable using AI tools thoughtfully to improve productivity while understanding their limitations.
- Candidates based in or near European time zones are a plus to facilitate collaboration, though we welcome applicants from all nationalities.

- Experience with React Hook Form.
- Familiarity with the TanStack ecosystem (e.g., TanStack Query, TanStack Table, or TanStack Router).
