Overview The Mastercard Public Sector team partners globally to help governments create sustainable, inclusive, and efficient economies while achieving commercial success. Our market leaders are supported by a Global Public Sector team specializing in Agentic, Cybersecurity, Urban Mobility, Government Payments, SMEs, and Tourism.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI and/or Cybersecurity Expert to join our team and work closely with various government agencies. The Senior Analyst, Cybersecurity & Agentic solutions will support the Vice President looking after Cybersecurity within Mastercard’s Global Public Sector team. This role will serve as a force multiplier—driving research, analytics, solution enablement, and execution support across cybersecurity and emerging agentic (AI-driven, autonomous and semi-autonomous) capabilities relevant to government clients. The Senior Analyst will combine deep analytical rigor, strong storytelling, and hands-on execution to help shape cybersecurity and agentic narratives, support priority opportunities, and enable market teams globally. The role requires comfort operating at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI/agentic systems, government policy, and commercial execution.
Role & Key responsibilities
Strategic & Market Intelligence
- Analyze global public sector cybersecurity and agentic AI trends, including policy, regulation, threats, and procurement models.
- Synthesize government pain points, demand signals, and competitive dynamics across cyber, identity, fraud, and resilience.
- Translate market intelligence into actionable pipeline insights Cybersecurity & Agentic Solution Enablement
- Support development of government-facing cybersecurity and agentic solution narratives aligned to Mastercard assets and partners.
- Help position responsible use of agentic capabilities to advance public sector security, resilience, and trust.
Agentic & Emerging Technology
- Research and articulate agentic AI use cases for public sector cybersecurity (e.g., autonomous defense, fraud detection, threat intelligence).
- Support VP-led development of agentic positioning, guardrails, and use‑case frameworks aligned to government expectations.
- Track global AI and agentic policy, regulatory, and ethical developments and assess implications on government related activities Execution & Operating Model Support
- Partner with management and market teams to develop local narratives, coordinate cross‑functional inputs, and track KPIs.
- Support innovation hubs, convenings, and forums through content, briefings, and post‑event synthesis.
- Contribute to community‑of‑practice tools, training, and sales enablement playbooks.
All About You
- Min 5 years of experience in AI, Cybersecurity, data, technology strategy, public sector consulting, government advisory, or adjacent fields.
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem (threats, controls, resilience, data protection) and growing familiarity with AI and agentic systems.
- Experience supporting or engaging with government or regulated industries; exposure to procurement, policy, or regulatory environments is a strong asset.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and synthesis skills—able to turn complexity into clear, executive-ready insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for executive, client, and sales audiences.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting multiple initiatives across regions and time zones.
- Curious, adaptable, and comfortable working in environments with ambiguity and emerging technologies.
- Collaborative and inclusive team player with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
