Technical Analyst Supply Chain / ERP / Logistics

1. Context of the mission

The Technical Analyst will support the Supply Chain Transformation Program under the Program Manager.
The role focuses on analyzing technical requirements, designing and documenting integrations, supporting ERP (SAP) and logistics system interfaces and
collaborating closely with functional analysts, developers and infrastructure teams.
The Technical Analyst ensures that all technical components of the Supply Chain program are coherent, optimized and aligned with the business and functional architecture.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months

(Depending on project evolution, extension is possible)

3. Language requirement

Kobbegem (2 days onsite, with 3 days remote)

5. Level of education required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent through experience.

6. Required Knowledge and Experience

Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
Effective communication with functional, technical and business stakeholders
Structured, detail-oriented and rigorous approach
Ability to manage multiple technical topics simultaneously

Preferable

Experience in cross-functional IT and business environments
Ability to challenge designs and propose optimizations
Experience in large transformation or integration programs Business experience required (work experience)

Mandatory (years: senior 3-5)

3–5 years as a Technical Analyst, Integration Analyst or similar technical role
Exposure to Supply Chain domains: warehousing, inventory, procurement, order management, logistics
Experience in ERP implementation or integration projects (SAP preferred)

Preferable

Experience with logistics systems such as WMS or TMS
Experience in environments with high levels of automation or real-time data exchange (scanning, IoT, conveyor systems, robotics)

Functional experience required (job experience in particular industry and in particular function)

Mandatory (years: senior 3-5)

Ability to understand end-to-end Supply Chain process flows
Collaborate with functional analysts to validate functional/technical feasibility
Perform gap analysis and translate functional needs into technical requirement
Prepare technical documentation: interface specifications, mapping documents, sequence diagrams
Support testing phases (SIT, integration testing, system validation)

Preferable

Understanding of SAP functional modules (MM, WM, EWM, SD)
Knowledge of master data structures impacting Supply Chain (material master, vendor, customer, storage locations)

Technical experience required (job experience in particular industry and in particular function)

Mandatory (years: junior 1-2/ senior 3-5 / expert 6+)

Deep understanding of ERP technical architecture (SAP ECC or S/4HANA)
Integration patterns: IDocs, APIs, BAPIs, flat files, EDI, queues
Experience with middleware platforms
Ability to read and interpret mapping/transformation logic (XML, JSON, CSV)
Strong familiarity with data flows, interface monitoring, and error handling

SQL for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting

Knowledge of technical incident analysis and coordination with development teams

Preferable

Familiarity with ABAP debugging or reading ABAP logic (not development, but analysis)
Experience with warehouse automation interfaces (scanners, IoT devices,…)
Basic understanding of cloud integration patterns (Azure, AWS)
Experience with performance testing or monitoring tools

7. Objective of the job

Support the Program Manager by ensuring that all technical components of the Supply Chain transformation program are properly analyzed, designed, validated, and integrated.
Guarantee that ERP and logistics systems interface smoothly and reliably, contribut ing to the overall success of the program and to efficient, scalable Supply Chain operations.
