About the role

Your responsibilities

As a Cook / Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for:

Preparing and sending dishes according to customer orders;
Following the restaurant’s recipes, portions and preparation methods;
Organising both hot and cold kitchen mise en place;
Preparing ingredients and food products before service;
Coordinating starters, main courses and desserts during service;
Ensuring that dishes are prepared quickly, accurately and consistently;
Managing food stocks and applying the FIFO method;
Participating in stock counts and inventory management;
Preparing and monitoring food orders;
Checking the quality and freshness of ingredients;
Respecting all food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures;
Keeping your workstation, equipment and kitchen areas clean and organised;
Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Your profile

You have:

At least five years of professional experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry;
Previous experience as a Cook or Chef de Partie;
Strong knowledge of professional kitchen organisation;
A good understanding of stock management, mise en place and service procedures;
Excellent spoken and written French;
A good spoken level of English;
Knowledge of Italian is a strong advantage.
