IT Operations Manager
Pairi Daiza is much more than a park: it is The Garden of Worlds. Every day, thousands of visitors come to enjoy a unique experience. Animals, nature, stones, and human cultures all come together here. But what truly makes the difference are the women and men who are committed to keeping this living heart beating.
Today, we are looking for an exceptional individual to strengthen our IT Service.
A rich and diverse technical environment
The diversity of the environment is what makes this role so engaging. You will oversee a broad IT ecosystem that combines hardware and software, visitor-facing systems, and internal business applications:
Point of Sale & Sales: restaurant (HoReCa) POS systems, retail POS systems, and ticketing solutions.
Hospitality & Accommodation: Property Management Systems (PMS) supporting our hotels and resort.
Connectivity: public and private networks, park-wide Wi-Fi, telephony, and carrier connectivity.
Digital Experience: website and mobile application enhancing the guest experience.
Core Infrastructure & Monitoring: servers, workstations, CCTV systems, and on-site IT equipment.
Your mission
As the IT Operations Manager, you will ensure the reliability, security, and continuous evolution of the hardware and software systems that keep the park running every day. You will manage our outsourced IT service providers, structure and professionalize IT operations, and lead the modernization of our core technology platform. You will be the primary point of contact whenever a business-critical service is at stake.
Key responsibilities
Reliability & Business Continuity: Ensure the availability of critical systems—including ticketing, HoReCa and retail POS systems, hotel management systems, the website, and the mobile application—particularly during peak season and outside normal business hours.
Infrastructure & Networks: Oversee and develop the public and private networks, Wi-Fi infrastructure, servers, and IT hardware across an 80-hectare resort.
Vendor Management: Manage outsourced IT service providers and telecommunications partners, including contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), performance monitoring, and technical decision-making.
Cybersecurity & Resilience: Lead operational cybersecurity, access governance, and business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Technology Roadmap: Define and drive the modernization of the core technology platform, including hardware refreshes, adoption of new technologies, and the multi-year IT roadmap.
Strategic IT Advisory: Advise the IT Director on technology trends, hardware and software lifecycle planning, and infrastructure upgrades to support strategic decision-making.
Support & Team Development: Ensure a high-quality, responsive IT support service, develop the IT team, and promote greater user autonomy.
People Management & Team Leadership: Lead the day-to-day management of the team, including workload planning, scheduling, onboarding new employees, and operational HR responsibilities within your scope.
Budget Management: Prepare, manage, and monitor the budget for your area of responsibility, including infrastructure, managed service contracts, and hardware renewals, ensuring effective financial control throughout the year.
Profile
Proven experience managing IT operations or infrastructure, ideally within a high-availability environment such as leisure, retail, hospitality, or manufacturing.
Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity, with the ability to engage confidently with technical partners.
Demonstrated experience managing outsourced service providers and operating within a predominantly outsourced IT model, without needing to perform all technical tasks personally.
Strong leadership skills, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize effectively while developing and motivating a team.
Service-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders.
Languages: Fluent French is essential; English is required for working in a technical environment.
