As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will design and implement secure, high-performance and scalable cloud solutions on Azure or AWS. You will work closely with development teams to build cloud-native applications, ensure compliance, and optimize architectures for availability and performance. This role combines cloud solution design, security expertise, and hands-on development in an Agile environment.
Your key responsibilities include the following:
Design, build, and operate secure, highly available cloud solutions on AWS or Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or similar).
Develop cloud‑native applications and APIs (REST & GraphQL) using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, and event‑driven architectures with Kafka.
Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes/OpenShift, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
Implement security best practices across all layers, aligned with OWASP guidelines and compliance standards.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, optimizing development workflows with AI‑powered tools and automation.Use Redis and other technologies to enable high‑performance caching and real‑time data access.
You have strong experience designing cloud solutions on AWS or Azure, with hands‑on use of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or similar).
You have solid backend development background using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, and event‑driven architectures with Kafka and have proven experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift) and well‑established CI/CD pipelines.
You have a good understanding of cloud and application security (OWASP principles, OAuth 2.0, SAML) and DevOps / DevSecOps practices; interest in integrating AI‑driven tools and features.
You are a good listener, collaborative and have a customer‑oriented approach, focused on delivering quality.
You have a professional working proficiency in Dutch and English. French is considered an asset.
