Position Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support finished vehicle logistics operations for the Belgium market. This role is responsible for coordinating vehicle flows from ports in Belgium and the Netherlands to MG dealerships across Belgium, ensuring efficient supply planning, smooth logistics execution, strong quality control processes, and high operational performance.
The successful candidate will work closely with sales operations, logistics providers, port operators, and dealerships to support the continued growth of the MG brand in the Belgian market.
Key Responsibilities1. Supply Planning
· Support vehicle supply planning activities for the Belgium market.
· Monitor vehicle pipeline status from ports to dealer delivery.
· Coordinate allocation and delivery priorities according to sales demand and stock levels.
· Work closely with European supply chain and logistics teams to ensure stable vehicle availability.
· Analyze inventory levels and support actions to improve stock efficiency and turnover.
2. Sales Operations & Logistics
· Coordinate finished vehicle transportation from ports in Belgium and the Netherlands to dealerships across Belgium.
· Monitor daily logistics operations, transport lead times, and delivery performance.
· Communicate with logistics service providers, transport carriers, and port operators.
· Act as the main logistics contact point for dealerships regarding delivery schedules and operational issues.
· Support vehicle sales planning and dealer allocation processes.
· Coordinate with sales teams regarding vehicle availability, delivery priorities, launch activities, and campaign requirements.
· Monitor dealer order status and support order fulfillment activities to ensure timely deliveries.
· Support month-end and quarter-end sales delivery activities to achieve business targets.
· Assist in managing vehicle registration status, delivery readiness, and dealer stock visibility.
· Prepare regular operational, logistics, and sales-related reports and KPI analysis.
· Ensure accurate logistics data and timely system updates.
· Monitor vehicle quality during port handling, storage, and transportation processes.
· Coordinate vehicle inspection processes and ensure compliance with MG quality standards.
· Handle transport damage cases and logistics-related claims from dealerships and logistics providers.
· Coordinate repair approvals, claim documentation, and follow-up with insurance and logistics partners.
3. Business Systems
· Support logistics and supply chain related system operations and data maintenance.
· Assist with ERP/TMS/WMS related process improvements and reporting.
· Coordinate with internal IT or system teams when required.
· Help improve operational visibility and reporting accuracy through digital tools.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
· 2–5 years of experience in automotive logistics, finished vehicle logistics, supply chain, or related operations.
· Experience in automotive OEM, importer, or logistics environment is preferred.
· Experience with vehicle quality inspection, transport damage handling, or claims management is an advantage.
· Strong coordination and communication skills.
· Good analytical and problem-solving capability.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics-related systems.
Language Requirements
· English is mandatory.
· Dutch and French or Chinese are considered strong advantages.
