The Flight Coordinator is responsible for the supervision, coordination, and monitoring of all flight handling activities to ensure safe, compliant, and on-time aircraft operations. The role acts as the operational link between warehouse operations, airlines, handling agents, load control teams, and ramp activities.
The Flight Coordinator ensures that all cargo is prepared, documented, loaded, and dispatched in accordance with airline requirements, aviation regulations, and operational standards while maintaining a proactive approach to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Coordinate and supervise all flight handling activities from cargo build-up to aircraft departure.

Follow up on export cargo build-up and prepare accurate Dead Load Statements (DLS).

Coordinate import cargo preparation, including BUP transit management and breakdown prioritization to ensure efficient cargo handling.

Ensure all flight documentation is complete, accurate, and available within operational deadlines.

Monitor flight progress and operational milestones to prevent delays and disruptions.

Liaise with airlines, warehouse teams, ramp operations, load control, and other operational stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Ensure Dangerous Goods shipments are accepted, built, documented, and loaded in compliance with IATA, ICAO, airline, and local regulatory requirements.

Verify compliance with aviation security, safety, and operational procedures.

Ensure all operational activities are performed in accordance with WFS standards and customer requirements.

Escalate operational, safety, or compliance issues promptly to the appropriate stakeholders.

Send all required operational messages (CPM, flight reports, irregularity reports, etc.) within required timelines.

Continuously monitor operational conditions and identify potential risks impacting on-time performance.

Take immediate corrective actions to minimize operational disruptions.

Coordinate solutions for irregular operations, last-minute changes, and unforeseen events.

Support warehouse and ramp teams through direct operational oversight and intervention when required.

Ensure service delivery meets customer expectations and contractual requirements.

Previous experience in air cargo, aviation operations, flight operations, load control, or airline ground handling.

Good knowledge of cargo handling processes and airline operations.

Understanding of aviation regulations and Dangerous Goods requirements.

Proficient use of MS Office applications and operational systems.

Fluency in English and French; Dutch is considered an asset.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
