We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Investment Manager to join our M&A team. In this role, you will identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in line with our corporate strategy. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to drive high-impact transactions.
As Investment Manager, you contribute to Telenet's strategic agenda and key priorities through strategic investments and active portfolio management, driving innovation, value creation, and growth.
Your role as Investment Manager
- Identify and assess investment opportunities. Evaluate acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships that support our corporate strategy.
- Build compelling investment cases. Lead financial modelling, business case development, and valuation analysis for potential transactions.
- Coordinate due diligence. Drive financial, legal, operational, and commercial due diligence processes in collaboration with internal experts and external advisors.
- Shape senior-level decisions. Develop and present investment proposals and recommendations to senior management and executive committees.
- Negotiate deal terms. Work closely with internal legal and finance teams and external advisors to negotiate transaction terms.
- Spot opportunities in the market. Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to proactively identify potential investment targets.
- Support integration. Contribute to post-transaction integration planning and execution.
- Actively manage the portfolio. Monitor the performance of existing portfolio companies and work closely with senior management and boards of directors through an active board role. You support and drive strategy, development and growth, and the execution of value creation plans.
Your profile as Investment Manager
The ideal candidate combines strong financial and analytical capabilities with proven experience in M&A or corporate finance.
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategy consulting
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring
- Excellent negotiation and project management skills
- Strong presentation and communication abilities, with a proactive and collaborative mindset
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is considered an asset
